A pocket-size, 2-in-1 checker for hotel rooms, rentals and guest rooms. Use the red LED lens finder to look for the shine of a small hidden camera lens, or switch to RF mode to scan for nearby wireless signals.

2 modes: lens finder + RF signal scan · Rechargeable · Free shipping

Why you'll like it

  • Lens finder: 6 red LEDs flash around a red window. Look through the red viewing window on the back and slowly sweep the room. A camera lens can show up as a small bright point of reflected light.
  • RF signal mode: scans for nearby radio signals from wireless transmitters and alerts you by buzzer, vibration or flashing light.
  • Adjustable sensitivity: a side dial lets you turn the sensitivity up or down while you scan.
  • Quiet option: use vibration, or plug your own earphone into the earphone jack, if you don't want a beep.
  • Small and light: about 2.6 × 1.9 × 0.6 in, so it fits in a pocket, purse or carry-on.

How it works

  1. Charge the built-in battery with the included charger before first use.
  2. Lens check: turn on the red LEDs, look through the red viewing window and sweep the room slowly, especially smoke detectors, clocks, chargers and vents.
  3. RF check: pull out the antenna, switch to RF mode and walk slowly around the room. Turn the sensitivity dial down as the alert gets stronger to find where the signal comes from.
  4. Turn off your own phone, Wi-Fi hotspot and other wireless devices first, so they don't set off the RF alert.

Good to know

This is a helper for a visual and signal check, not a guarantee. It cannot find every device: cameras that are switched off, that store video without sending a signal, or that are hidden behind solid objects may not show up, and phones, Wi-Fi routers and other everyday wireless devices also trigger the RF alert. Results depend on the room and on how carefully you scan. Use it only in places where you are allowed to check, and follow local laws.

Battery safety

Contains a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. Charge only with the included charger. Do not charge unattended, near heat or in water. Do not open, puncture or burn. Stop using it if it gets hot, swells or leaks. Recycle according to local rules. Keep away from children.

FAQ

Will it find every hidden camera?
No device can promise that. The lens finder helps you spot the reflection of a camera lens, and RF mode reacts to wireless signals. Cameras that are off or don't transmit may not be detected.

Why does it beep near my phone or router?
RF mode reacts to all nearby radio signals, including phones, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Turn your own devices off or move them away before you scan.

How do I charge it?
With the included wall charger (US plug). It has a built-in rechargeable battery, so no disposable batteries are needed.

How long does delivery take?
Shipping is free. Orders ship in 1–3 business days and usually arrive in 3–7 business days. If an item ever can't ship that fast, we'll email you before the promised date with a new date and the option to cancel for a full refund.
